About Us
Conveyor Application Systems, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Rexius company, who originally built and operated mobile conveyors in the 1940’s. Rexius is internationally known for its invention and innovation of the pneumatic Express Blower Truck™ over 60 years ago, and continues to work to create new innovations for the industry in material application. High speed conveyor application equipment is an extension of the same technical know-how that placed blower trucks and rock blowers on the map today. CAS®, LLC operates out of Eugene, Oregon and is the only company building complete mobile conveyor trucks in the United States of America. Quality workmanship is our trademark, and CAS strives to build a CAS slinger truck that fits the needs of the market, and maintains a working condition that encourages profitable operation and sustained asset life..
About Our Equipment
CAS equipment is a high quality and well designed gravel spreader that handles soil, sand, mulch and stone in slinger truck type configurations for the construction, concrete, utility, landscape, excavation and erosion control industries. Concrete flatwork, utility trench backfill, grading and excavation, retaining wall backfill and any other type of concrete construction work or site prep work moving rock and dirt are perfect applications for the CAS. We have taken the general ideas of common and basic placer or slinger type spreader trucks in the industry and refined the hydraulics, feeding, and operating systems to make spreading more efficient and profitable with less wear and tear on the equipment. The CAS is made with higher quality steel and 100% solid welding, and finished with powder coat paint to add life and wear-ability to the basic structure, reducing rusting and the potential of expensive maintenance after regular use. Our Super Track (ST) feeding system is the widest on the market, and allows more varieties of products to run through the system with reduced bridging and clogging. In addition, the equipment is mounted using isolated front and rear spring mounts and the unit is separated from the frame using a flexible seal. In addition to several patent pending designs and features, these are just a few of many important details that we pay close attention to when manufacturing equipment that ultimately becomes an investment in your future. We care about the long term cost of operation and we design our equipment accordingly.
The CAS slingers are not just a material conveyor similar to the well known Telebelt ® made by the concrete pumper manufacturer, Putzmeister™. Material is not simply dropped a few feet from the front of the conveyor. Our unique belt design along with the high speed conveyor make placement of material precise, and the CAS is able to spread or sling stone material at distances up to 140 feet from the equipment. This heavy construction equipment can be an excellent alternative for dump trucks, excavation equipment, quarry equipment, and landscaping equipment. The direct hydraulic drive system of the CAS placing conveyor is designed with adequate operation capacity, and the controls can either be tower mounted or remote control operated. It can even be built with a CAS Remote Drive System that allows you to remotely drive the truck in motion while placing material. CAS offers three configurations: The Super Track (truck mounted), All-Terrain, or AT6 (remote operated), and the Magnum, or MG (continuous self reloading). Whatever your needs are, from simple rock, soil, sand or bark placement, to more complex projects needing specific technology, CAS can fit your needs and your budget with many models to choose from.
If you currently operate slingers, such as a Dahms Stone Slinger ®, or stone spreaders and gravel shooters like a Bay-Lynx MultiCat ™, Soil King ®, or GCI, you owe it to yourself to see the real difference a CAS can make with its unique design and quality manufacturing. If you would like to contact us by phone, call 888-279-4227. You may also email us by contacting Arlen Rexius at arlenr@rexius.com, or Brent Whitley at bwhitley@rexius.com . We can also be seen at various trade shows around the country such as World of Concrete, Conex, Mine Expo, Conexpo-Con/Agg, Windpower, and Oregon Logging Conference. We will be happy to get to know you and find a piece of equipment that best fits your needs.
